Winning the lottery.

Published by psi2008 at 12:03 am under Uncategorized Edit This

I hope I win the lottery soon.  Real soon.  I hope my mom wins too.  If we could win in the same year that would be my dream.  Together we could field the phone calls from people we never hear from and plan trips.  I always tell he she is going to win just to let the ungrateful grandkids eat their hearts out.  I totally have her phone answering machine message already planned.  I’ve always said that after I win no one who doesn’t know my phone number by memory need call.  I will establish a private number to give to usual callers.  All others will receive a special message.  A blow off.

Mom is not as old as Senator McCain’s mom but she is up there.  She and I will go to Italy and Vegas.  We will blow money off into the penny slot machines until we win $20.  Then we’ll leave to eat steak and seafood.  Our goal is to eat and shop and see shows, then come home.  I need another car. I have a van but I need a car.  A car for me is anything that runs well, has heat and air, automatic windows and good wipers.  Those are my requirements.   My dream cars are Hondas and Toyotas.  I would be full of joy in a Honda CRV or Toyota RAV.  My job dilemma will be solved.  I’ll be free to do my rightful (or writeful) occupation…write. I can write all the columns. blogs and books I want with no need for money (which I do now anyway with the need).  It will be sweet.

One of my books will be one of instruction to future lottery winners.  You may not win but after reading my book at least you’ll be armed if you do.  Why get caught up in a panic.  You should kow exactly what to do when you’re notified.  One thing is certain.  If you don’t buy a ticket, you can’t win.  One ticket is not too much to ask.  Think of it as your contribution to public education.  Buy tickets and dream.  Plan what you’ll do when you get the call.

I truly want to hold up a big check for photographers.  I truly want to let my relatives know that they are not getting anything if I haven’t heard from them in years.  My nephew scared me by calling me last year.  I hadn’t heard from him and wondered if I’d won and not been notified.  He might get a few bucks.   Well I better go get started on my book of instructions for lottery winners.  Its a great thing to think about.  It could happen.    I hope it happens to you too..  Seriously!
